TheGreatestOnlineExhibitionEverSeen is a collection of artistic creations by an amazing group of young people from Barking and Dagenham working with London Youth, Lifeline, and BootzMama.

All the pieces that you see have been created by the young people who have attended sessions over 8 weeks.
Artists explored various themes that are important to them and sometimes with poignant stories behind them.

TheGreatestOnlineExhibitionEverSeen was born when London Youth funded a an 8 week project working with Lifeline and Artist BootzMama.
Art was at the heart of all of our sessions but at the heart of the Art was the young people. Everything. you see on here has come from them; How they feel; What makes them laugh, think, comforts them, brings them joy. You literally have been invited to see a part of who they are and what they feel through their pieces.

We decided that having the work in a collection like this was an integral part of the project as having an online presence is key for any contemporary artist/artwork.
​
In terms of visitors it was also a major consideration as people still find visiting galleries and or exhibitions intimidating and or just 'not what they do'; but the consumption of Art through social media and other Digital platforms is huge!
​
BootzMama and the young people believed that the creation of work and the creation of a website to collate and showcase that work would be an excellent way to nurture and encourage art within the young people themselves and the wider communities connected with them; whilst also addressing the ever changing face of the art world, and how we move forward in it as artists and consumers.
